Air China Ltd first quarter revenues rose 31% to 11.24 billion yuan and net profit rose 121% to 2.17 billion yuan. China COSCO Holdings Company Limited 2009 revenues fell 48% to 68.5 billion yuan and net loss was 7.47 billion yuan or 0.73 yuan a share.

Air China Ltd, the provider of airline, airline-related services said first quarter revenues rose 31% to 11.24 billion yuan from 14.7 billion yuan a year ago. Net profit in the quarter rose 121% to 2.17 billion yuan compared to net profit of 981.2 million yuan a year ago.

Air China Ltd, in the last one year traded as high as Rmb 8.66 in April 2010 and as low as Rmb 3.03 in April 2009. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of Rmb 8.31 the company has market cap of Rmb 101.81 billion.

China COSCO Holdings Company Limited, the operator of dry-bulk ships said 2009 revenues fell 48% to 68.5 billion yuan from 131.8 billion yuan a year ago. Net loss in the year was 7.47 billion yuan or 0.73 yuan per diluted share compared to net profit of 11.6 billion yuan or 1.14 yuan per share a year ago.

China COSCO Holdings Company Limited, in the last one year traded as high as Rmb 20.21 in August 2009 and as low as Rmb 11.61 in April 2009. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of Rmb 12.09 the company has market cap of Rmb 123.51 billion.

China Southern Airlines Company Limited, the provider of commercial airline services said first quarter net profit was 1.42 billion yuan or 0.18 yuan per diluted share.
